USF Lecture Series: Harry Belafonte: The actor, activist and singer developed a deep friendship with King and played a key role in the civil rights movement, including the 1963 March on Washington. Belafonte is expected to provide the audience with his perspective on social issues, from the Black Lives Matter movement and equal rights struggles, to U. Real Music Series: Michael Cavanaugh: The series features live mixed music from the 1950s to today. Performances held at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. in the Stanleyville Theater.
