5 things to do under $5 this week: Free Slurpee Day, free food for cow costumes at Chick-fil-A, Dunedin Orange Festival

1 Free Slurpee Day: Brain freeze alert! To celebrate July 11 (or 7/11), next Wednesday you can get a free 12-ounce Slurpee at 7-Eleven stores across the Tampa Bay area from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. while supplies last. Free.

2 Chick-fil-A Cow Appreciation Day: More free food, but this time you have to sacrifice your sense of fashion. Visit any Chick-fil-A restaurant on Tuesday dressed as a cow from head to hoof and you’ll be rewarded with a free breakfast, lunch or dinner entree.

3 Dunedin Orange Festival: This old-fashioned festival celebrates the fruit that made Florida famous with local food vendors, live music, a beer brew-off contest, fun zone, free orange juice samples and craft beer and wine for sale. Benefits the Dunedin Historical Museum and the Dunedin Chamber Foundation. 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday. Edgewater Park, 51 Main St., Dunedin. Free, $20 beer brew-off. (727) 736-1176.

4 Broadway Musical Movies: To build excitement for fall Broadway shows at Ruth Eckerd Hall, the Capitol Theatre this summer will run a series of Tony winners that made it to the big screen. Up first at 7 p.m. Friday is Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. The rest of the month brings Chicago (July 13), Mary Poppins (July 18) and Rent (July 21). Find the full lineup at atthecap.com. 405 Cleveland St., Clearwater. $5, $9 with unlimited fountain drinks and popcorn. (727) 791-7400.

5 Pioneer Settlement Open House: Spend a leisurely day at the park and take a step back in time. Tour the historic grounds or just bring a family picnic. 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday. Pinellas Pioneer Settlement, 2900 31st St. S, St. Petersburg. Free. (727) 893-7326.
