Shop Spooky: Hauntizaar

The Halloween season brings all kinds of creepy-cool events, especially Hauntizaar, which returns to the Studio@620 on Saturday. Presented by the St. Pete Craft Heroes, the event showcases the ghoulish creations of local makers in a market setting. Find Halloween and Day of the Dead themed artwork and crafts by Coralette Damme, Frank Strunk III and Irma Gerd, whose four-eyed, witchy kitty is pictured. Dress up in costume and visit the booths of October Oddities and Freak Show Follies, if you dare, or discover your destiny with a tarot card reading by Psychic Paula. The haunted bazaar is free to attend. 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at 620 First Ave. S, St. Petersburg. thestudio@620.org.

Retro Fit: St. Pete Vintage Bash

St. Petersburgers are a vintage-loving bunch. The area is home to serious collectors of clothes, bikes, cars and more. Join them on Sunday for the St. Pete Vintage Bash at the Hollander Hotel. Bikers can find out whose chopper is the baddest in the Vintage Motorcyle Contest. A vintage swimwear contest will show who has the best old duds. A vintage car show will transport you to a time when automobiles were works of art. Speaking of art, artists including Chad Mize, Stephen Palladino and Bekky Beukes embellished motorcyle helmets for an art show. Tunes by DJ Sugarbear and the Hot Rod Hornets set the mood for a swing dance-off. Free to attend. 1-6 p.m. at 421 Fourth Ave. N.
