GOLF: Tee off on Bucs turf

There haven’t been many long drives recently at Raymond James Stadium, but that will change when the traveling golf experience known as Stadiumlinks returns to Tampa. The event transforms the field into a temporary course. Golfers tee off from spots around the stadium at nine holes on the playing field. Scores are determined by driving accuracy. $74 and up for a limited time, two golfers minimum. Tee times from 7-9 p.m. Saturday. 4201 N Dale Mabry Highway. SKATE BOARDING: Party for the skatepark

Celebrate the one-year anniversary of the St. Petersburg Regional Skatepark. The event includes demonstrations, bowl jams and best-trick skateboard and BMX competitions open to all ages (no pros) with $1,225 in cash and prizes. Best-trick registration is limited. Tampa Bay Rays: The Rays host the Minnesota Twins for a four-game series Thursday (7:10 p.m.), Friday (7:10), Saturday (1:10 p.m.) and Sunday (1:10). Florida State League: The first 1,000 fans 21 and older get a free Coors Light cooler bag when the Clearwater Beach Dogs take on the Dunedin Blue Jays. Who are the Beach Dogs? They are the Threshers’ alternate identity. On the last Friday home game of the month, the team takes the field uniformed as the Beach Dogs. North Tampa Bicycle Ride to Odessa: Meet at the West Village Commons Parking lot, park on the east side next to West Village Drive.
