NEW PORT RICHEY — It’s a matter of course and honor for cadets in the Navy JROTC program to raise the stars and stripes on school mornings at Gulf High School.

Cadets stood at attention in full dress, awash in the morning light, as the school band played The National Anthem. There was a benediction, brief words of remembrance, then a Passing the Flag ceremony.
