"Gasoline is becoming less expensive to produce and sell thanks to lower crude prices and cheaper-to-produce winter blend fuel," said Mark Jenkins, spokesman for AAA, in a release. "Retail prices have not quite caught up with declines on the wholesale side, so motorists should see another round of discounts this week."The decline tracks with seasonal trends, gas tracker GasBuddy.com said, as winter blends are typically cheaper and demand goes down in the fall and winter months. A bump could be on the horizon, too, as recent sanctions against Iran could bring slightly higher prices in the near future.MORE: Get more business news here Contact Malena Carollo at firstname.lastname@example.org or (727) 892-2249.
