Hernando Pet of the Week for June 29

Kip is a handsome 2-year-old male black brindle and white terrier mix. He was found as a stray and brought to the shelter. Kip is friendly and loves to play with the shelter’s volunteers. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and has a one year Hernando County animal license. Inquiries about adopting Kip or other dogs and cats can be made at Hernando County Animal Services, 19450 Oliver St., Brooksville. Visiting hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Adoption fees are $50 for adult dogs over 25 pounds, $70 for puppies and small dogs under 25 pounds, $25 for heartworm positive and senior dogs, $20 for adult cats and $40 for kittens.
