Here's a look at Friday's opener of the three-game series between the Rays and Blue Jays:

When/where: 7:07, Rogers Centre, Toronto

TV/radio: Fox Sports Sun; 620-AM, 680-AM (Spanish)

Probable pitchers

Rays:  LH Blake Snell (12-5, 2.27)

Twins: RH Marco Estrada (5-8, 4.65)

On Snell: Look for the Rays' all-star, making his second start since a mild bout with shoulder fatigue, to work a little longer than he did Saturday (59 pitches) against the White Sox. Showing a bit of rust, Snell threw only 34 pitches for strikes but allowed only one run in four innings. A 75-pitch night isn't out of the question this evening.

On Estrada: Employing a nearly untouchable changeup, Estrada carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning of Saturday's 5-1 win against the Mariners, allowing only one hit in a 93-pitch gem. In his previous start, his first since coming off the disabled list (left glute strain), he allowed four runs in as many innings in a 10-1 loss at Oakland.
