Labor Day Weekend: Tampa Bay Salvage
Labor Day marks the end of summer, and many big box retailers celebrate with sales. So check out all the usual suspects for deals on mattresses, electronics and appliances. But also keep it local at Tampa Bay Salvage's End of Summer Sale, happening Saturday-Monday. The architectural salvage, picker's paradise has two locations, one in Palm Harbor and the other in Dade City. And all weekend, at both locations, it's a party, with live reggae music, a complimentary taco bar from Tacos Flacos & Cantina, free Coronas and drinks, a bounce house and snow cones. Not to mention that the owners have just returned from a picking trip, so there will be lots of new inventory for their Red Tagged sale, with select items up to 60 percent off. They're open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. all three days, at 4825 Alt. U.S. 19, Palm Harbor, and 37832 Meridian Ave., Dade City. tampabaysalvage.com.

Don't Miss Out: Market Round Up
There's a new market in town! The Chelsea Street Market happens Friday at Velo Champ Cycle Sport in Seminole Heights, and it's in the evening, mercifully. Artists, makers and vendors will have their wares available from 7-11 p.m. They'll have a Yoga Happy Hour from 5-6 p.m. so you can stretch out before you shop. And there's a movie screening at sunset. Feel free to BYOB, and food will be available on site. 4415 N Florida Ave., Tampa.

Vintage lovers will be delighted that the monthly Brocante market is open this Saturday-Sunday, with a fresh crop of goods hand-picked by a team of 50 "Brocanteurs." 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday at 2200 Second Ave. S, St. Petersburg.

It's free and open to the public, and starts at 7 p.m. at 511 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. N.
