Double the shopping opportunities at Mastry’s Brewing Co. and find funky gifts at ARTpool

Make it a Double: Winter Solstice Extravaganza
Ever since it opened on St. Pete Beach, Mastry's Brewing Co. has been hosting all kinds of events, including markets and a semiannual fashion show, which returns Saturday as part of the Winter Solstice Extravaganza. The brewery partnered with the Market Mafia to present the all-day festival, which has two markets — day and night. The fashion show features apparel by Betty Shop, Gray Space, Hippie Hits, La Panache, Suncoast Surf Shop and White Nile, all of whom are also vendors in the night market. Looks in the fashion show feature men and women's beach-by-day and beach-by-night. But neither market is clothing only; vendors including Gulf to Bay Bait and Tackle Shop, Urban Plant Creations and Wrecked Records will also be selling their wares. A portion of proceeds will benefit Angels Against Abuse, a local nonprofit focused on protecting abused children. The day market runs from noon to 3 p.m., and the night market runs from 6 -10 p.m., with the fashion show at 7 p.m. Food is available beginning at 4 p.m. and a DJ spins from 6-10 p.m. Beer is available all day. 7701 Blind Pass Road. Funky Finds: Crafty Fest
St. Pete staple ARTpool Gallery has an impressive collection of vintage clothing and collectables, sizable selection of vinyl, work from local artists and interesting jewelry. My husband is trained to buy gifts for me there, and they are always a hit. This weekend, ARTpool presents Crafty Fest with vendors selling crafts, household goods and accessories, jewelry, plants and artwork. You can also grab a cold craft beer. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. 2030 Central Ave. artpoolrules.com.
