Your 20-years-younger self just screamed out loud.

Three pioneering alt-rock acts of the ’90s — Alanis Morissette, Garbage and Liz Phair — have announced a tour that’ll hit major venues coast to coast in 2020, including Tampa’s MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre on June 17. Tickets go on sale Dec. 13. Click here for details.

The tour may seem like a female-fronted nostalgia-fest, a harder-edged Lilith Fair reboot, and to some degree it may be. Who wouldn’t want to come out on a hot summer night to hear Morissette sing You Oughta Know and Ironic, Garbage play Stupid Girl and Only Happy When It Rains and Phair snarl through Supernova and Why Can’t I?

But as it turns out, all three artists have their own things going on in 2020. Morrissette is overseeing Jagged Little Pill, a new musical based on her catalog, on Broadway. Garbage singer Shirley Manson has a podcast, The Jump, that has featured guests like Courtney Love, Neko Case and Big Boi. And Phair has been making the media rounds in support of her new memoir Horror Stories, and a new album expected sometime next year.

So whether you’re feeling nostalgic or you’re just feeling what Morissette, Manson and Phair are doing now, this is bound to be one of the most interesting tag-team shows of the summer.
